This Market will showcase two new collections: Cauldrons and Pleated Vases. Cauldrons are woodturned bowls with carved handles demonstrating a wide variety of shapes and styles. Pleated Vases depart from my usual origami and explore sculptural, object-based forms. This was my first time showing with the 33 Artist Market and it was a delight. The Wonder Building is a great venue and I had so many people stop by my booth to check out pieces. It was also a great learning experience in developing a selection of work that both satisfies my creative itches and attracts the attention of others. Looking forward to doing more.

This was my first event as The Grain Mill and it was wild. All in, I spent 10 hours at the event and at its peak, the temperature reached 98 degrees. And even though it was a long, hot day, it was a great experience and I’m happy to have done it.
