Dragonfly Grove
Often insects are regarded as some of the more interesting and challenging origami subjects given there many legs, wings, eyes, and other unique features. While I decided to forego the legs of this dragonfly design, I wanted to ensure a very recognizable form with thin wings and big eyes. The dragonflies are staged on a Maple base with various elm flower structures to add interest. The frog shown in these photos is no longer available.
